Tom Brady's Raiders stake purchase gets critical update
Tom Brady has been in the news a lot lately. One of the more forgotten about stories related to the legendary QB is his pending bid to become a partial owner in the Las Vegas Raiders. According to Washington Post's Mark Maske, it is unlikely that NFL owners will vote on Brady's proposed acquisition of a portion of the Las Vegas Raiders at this week's meeting in Nashville. The deal is still pending before the NFL finance committee, where it has been for several months.

This is a bit of a surprise at this point because the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer last year, but it’s hard to get too mad at adding a talent like Brock damn Bowers. The Raiders' two-tight end personnel sets are going to be a beast and they’ll be in good position to make life easier for whoever is playing quarterback for them this year.

This is probably a good spot for Powers-Johnson, who was announced as a guard instead of a center. Regardless, the Raiders needed bodies on the interior and Powers-Johnson is a credible player to add at guard. Very steady starter.
