(AP) — Cole Ragans allowed two hits in seven scoreless innings, Michael Massey and Maikel Garcia homered and the Kansas City Royals beat Oakland 6-2 on Friday night to extend the Athletics losing streak to a season-high six. Ragans (3-3) walked two and struck out seven, rebounding from a 9-3 loss at the Los Angeles Angels when he allowed seven runs and eight hits. The Kansas City Royals took down the Los Angeles Angels 10-4 on Thursday night. This victory gives Kansas City the first of four games of this current series on the road, and they truly outplayed Los Angeles in all three phases. The Royals' bats were frozen in the first couple of innings as Hunter Renfroe became the first member of the ball club to reach first base as he was walked. From there, Garrett Hampson and Maikel Garcia proceeded with singles of their own, but Hampson was caught stealing home.
