Boston's Kutter Crawford and Atlanta's Reynaldo López each allowed two runs in a matchup of right-handers with ERA's under 2.00.
Atlanta averaged 2.5 runs in losing six of its prior eight. Boston went 1 for 14 with runners in scoring position Tuesday, stranding 13 despite getting their biggest hitters up in the biggest spots. Both Rafael Devers and Tyler O'Neill went 0 for 3 in their chances, each striking out twice.
