With Roberson entering transfer portal, UConn lands former Oklahoma, Wisconsin QB Evers

The UConn Huskies football team might have just landed their starting quarterback for the 2024 season after their starter from last year will likely be gone. On May 1, quarterback Ta'Quan Roberson announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on the last day of the deadline, with the intention of playing for a different school next season. Roberson was UConn's starting quarterback for the majority of last season, starting in 11 games. Roberson has been a member of the Huskies the last two seasons before he transferred over from Penn State, where he was a Nittany Lion for two seasons.
